John Van Meter has over 35 years of experience in government contracting. John brings a unique perspective of industry and consulting experience to contract compliance, internal control, and business process development engagements. John is also an accomplished speaker and trainer within the government contracting industry.
Professional Experience: John spent much of his career with KPMG, where he held positions from senior consultant to Partner in Charge of the firm’s Government Contractor Advisory Services delivering professional services to premier clients worldwide. During the industry portion of his career John has held accounting, pricing, subcontract management, and property positions predominantly with Northrop Aircraft and the Garrett Engine Company.
John is a frequent speaker for industry and professional associations.
Jean Labadini’s expertise is government contract management, with specialized experience in purchasing system requirements. Jean has over 40 years experience navigating complex contract and business system requirements (35 years with DCMA/7 years consulting) and has expert ability to read, interpret and apply acquisition regulations.
Jean retired as the Director of the DCMA CPSR Group and led the group of Procurement Analysts in a renewed commitment toward performing their mission to effectively review contractor purchasing systems. Jean personally developed and provided training to each of the CPSR Hub sites, drafted a Guide to Planning and Conducting CPSRs, and DCMA Work Instructions associated with Advance Notification and Consent. During her time at DCMA, Jean was a certified DCMA trainer and delivered Agency contracted training material on Advance Payments, Progress Payments, Performance Based Payments, Public Vouchers, and Commercial Item Financing.
